Privacy Notice

What stays in your browser

During the Founding Beta, your conversation and relationship record are encrypted in the browser where you met Entity. They are not stored in an Entity account database. Clearing site data or changing browsers can permanently erase them.

What is processed to answer you

Recent conversation messages are sent securely to our AI provider so Entity can respond. Provider application-state storage is disabled. Separate provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply. We do not use your private conversation to sell advertising.

Payment and access information

Stripe processes payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive the checkout status and purchaser email needed to activate the pass. An encrypted, HTTP-only browser cookie holds the access receipt. A separate encrypted cookie records relationship-boundary enforcement.

Your controls

Privacy lets you review retained source messages and confirmed facts, approve sensitive facts, export the saved relationship record, or remove an exchange and its derived records. Removing a source also resets aggregate relationship weights that cannot be rebuilt from exact evidence. Full erase removes this browser’s saved relationship record and, when the restricted account-sync pilot is enabled, its live account snapshot. It does not erase payment or enforcement cookies, offline copies on other devices, or separate provider retention.

What we do not do

We do not sell your conversation or build an advertising profile from it. We do not claim that local browser encryption eliminates every risk, and we will describe material privacy changes before they apply.
